Draw center marks on selection - This is useful if you need to know where the center of an object is, but can add visual noise if not required.
Don't cache graphics - This option gives you a tradeoff between drawing speed and memory use. When graphics have a cache, they are drawn extremely fast. However, this comes at a price of using more memory. If you find Create to be a memory pig, then check this option, and although drawing will be slower, memory is saved.
Allow fractional points - Demanding graphic artists will find that the 1 point coordinate system is not refined enough. Checking this option allows you to move and resize objects by increments of .25 points with each nudge or arrow key movement. Objects created with this feature enabled, but later moved or resized with this feature turned off, will resume their minimum increment of 1 point. Metric system users should enable this feature, because the metric system does not map to the 72 point per inch system in use by Display PostScript.

"Our Art" Directory - Share a directory of .createImage files with this preference. Use the Set button to bring up an Open Panel to specify the directory, or just enter it into the field.

Inspector follows document - If checked, the Inspector will "attach" itself to the upper left side of the current window - this is not recommended for small screens, but can help manage windows on large ones.
