Sample Images

The images that you will be working with in this guided tour can be found in the Useful submenu of the Art menu. The effects and characteristics used in these images represent only a fraction of the graphic effects that can be achieved with Create. They will, however, provide you with an introduction to both the capabilities of Create and the tools you can use to start creating your own incredible images.

The key to learning how to create extraordinary images in
Create is to learn how to interpret and control the inspector settings, as the inspectors are the means by which you control the characteristics of your graphic objects. The most important thing that you can learn from this tour is how to use the inspectors to examine the characteristics of Create images, and how to recreate those effects on the images you create. After completing this tutorial, you'll be able to see how we created all of the images included in the Gallery submenu and you'll be able to incorporate those effects in your own images.

Sample Image #1: 02_Ball
This image combines a Super Text object and an oval object. You'll learn how to use the fill, shadow, and multiple effects to achieve a 3-D look.

Open a new
Create window (command-n or New Empty from the File menu) and select 02_Ball from the Useful submenu of the Art menu.
