This chapter discusses the various objects you can make in Create as well as how to edit their size and location in the document. Please refer to Chapter 4 for a discussion of how to perform more complex editing and change the characteristics of the objects you learn how to create in this section.
Use Create to create designs which combine text, graphic shapes, and TIFF, EPS, JPEG, GIF and PNG images. Create provides some drawing tools and features that make precise layout easy.
The images and shapes you work with, including text, are treated as individual objects which can be moved, resized, modified and combined with other objects. There is no pixel editing in Create. (But you can always use another program to make a graphic that requires pixel editing and then bring it into Create as a TIFF, JPEG, GIF or PNG image.)
You can have several Create documents open at one time. To create a new document, choose New (Command-n) from the File menu. To clone a saved template or "stationary", choose New.. (Command-N) from the File menu. You can also open previously saved documents by choosing Open... (Command-o) from the File menu.
