-- They are smaller.

-- They can later be added to any open
Create document by dragging them in from the File Viewer. The same can be said of TIFF, EPS, JPEG, GIF and PNG formats, but a .createImage file is fully editable after it is added to a Create document. With TIFF, EPS, JPEG, GIF and PNG documents, you have control over scaling and rotation in Create, but you do not have the same control over their object characteristics.

-- They can be included in the My Art and Our Art menus.

To save a
Create Image, select one or more graphic objects. Then choose Save Image from the File menu. In the Open panel that appears, you can name and locate your document, and specify whether you want it included into the My Art menu. You can also save selected Create images or entire documents to a .createImage format through the Save To command in the FIle menu. For more information on how to use this command, please refer to Save To in Chapter 5.

For more information on how to bring .createImage files back into an open
Create document, please see Importing Images below.

EPS, TIFF, JPEG, GIF or PNG

You can also save selected Create images or an entire document to TIFF and EPS formats by using the Save To command or the DataWell. In the standard Save panel that appears, you have the option of specifying whether you want to save the entire document or just a selection and whether you want to save it to Create, Create image, EPS or TIFF format. For more information on how to use the Save To command, please refer to Save To in Chapter 5. Saving as JPEG, GIF, or PNG, use the DataWell and drag either your entire document (nothing is selected) or any number of objects in your document from the DataWell that is on JPEG, GIF, or PNG.
